A Video Tutorial on how to install cwRsync on a server and client and transfer files
Hi,
At http://www.alanbonnici.com/videos/cwrsync.asp I have just placed a 20 minute video tutorial on how to install, configure and transfer data using this product.
I still consider this to be a works-in-progress document and would appreciate any feedback, corrections or suggestions.

Upgrade to cwrsync 4.0.1 from 2.1.5
Hi,
I would like to upgrade my server to 4.0.1 from 2.1.5 (Windows 2003). I have a couple of questions that would help me considerably (unless someone has an upgrade document i could follow):
- In version 2.1.5 OpenSSH was used to encrypt the stream. Does 4.0.1 come with SSH or do i need to install copSSH (before / after)?
- In version 2.1.5 I had a directory C:\Program Files\cwRsyncServer\var\SvcwRsync\.ssh that contained the following files: authorized_keys, cwrsync and authorized_keys.pub. Where should I place these files in order to keep the settings fo the previous installation?
My upgrade notes stand as follows:
cwrsync and winsshd
Hi All,
I want to use cwrsync to backup my webserver content to another server.I would like to use the push mechanism.I am using winsshd on the target and i have installed cwrsync on the sources .
Every thing works fine if i installed the cwrsync on the target. But due to some security constraint i do not want to run cwrsync(daemon or cwrsync process) on the target.
In summary this is the current setup:
Machine A(target server): Winsshd installed on this server
Machine B(sources Serverr): Cwrsync installed on this machine and all my files which needs to be pushed to machine A is available on this machine.
Any thought on how to achieve this.
Regards,
Deep
Deploying Exchange 2003 RPC over HTTP via OpenSSH tunnels
The Exchange RPC over HTTP feature enables remote users to establish connections across the Internet by tunneling the remote procedure call (RPC) traffic over Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP). That way, Your Outlook users will be able to connect directly to an Exchange server in your corporate environment from the Internet.
